Kay Carley has great Blog Candy to give away.

Just got back from a short break in Stratford-upon-Avon, lovely place and we had great weather too, so thought I would check out Blogland to see what I've been missing. Kay Carley has some great Blog Candy to give away here. It runs until midnight on Sunday 31st May. I really love the stamp sheets that she designs, they're sold under the Aspects of Design label through The Stamp Man, and I always try to watch when she is demonstrating on Create and Craft.

Found lots of inspiration and so envy the people who manage to update their blogs regularly, some as often as everyday. Since having problems starting mine, I got there in the end then sat back feeling proud of myself, I didn't get into a routine of regular updates. This is going to change so I am going to check out the pictures of my latest cards then put them on here. Back soon.

Blog hopping

Not finished my word book for OH yet as I have been doing a bit of blog hopping. I keep following links and then lose track of the time.

Spotted over on Dottie's World that they are celebrating their 1st birthday by having a re-launch party from 17th - 24th May. There will be lots of games and prizes so check out the details here then make a note in your diary.

Off to do a bit more on my Word Book whilst OH is out.

The rest of the cards.

This is my latest creation ... a Funky Word Book ... it's for my husband as it's our Wedding Anniversary on the 17th. I haven't got the latest CDROM from Funky Hand (yet) but this is from one of the Word Book collections on Funky Daze. I haven't finished the inside but plan on working on it this week.

A few more cards

I've shown a few cards here that I've only just got round to photographing, tried to add more than three but Blogger is playing Silly Beggars and won't let me. The first one I made for my husband for Valentines Day. The papers were a free download, think it was from Shabby Princess. The other two weren't for anything special ... just trying things out.

2nd Post

Well after a lot of messing about I think I have finally managed to get the pictures to show up below the text. I was trying to add a picture after the text but it kept appearing above it ... then when I finally thought that I'd got it right I spoiled things by adding another picture which then appeared right at the top. Many attempts later I may have cracked it but I still can't understand why I can't just type then add pictures in the order that I want them to appear. Time to preview ... well everything looks OK .... time to publish ... fingers crossed.

Stamp - Penny Black, Chicky Night

1st Post

I feel like I'm in the queue for a white knuckle ride at the funfair, I'm nervous and not sure that I want to get on the Bloggerama but I'm keeping my options open and moving slowly forward, one step at a time. Not sure what I'm doing but I've managed to get this far without anyone holding my hand, time to be brave ... deep breath ... off we go.
